WOODLEIGH FOOD & FUN FEST, 23RD MARCH 2011

 

 

 

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. The Woodleigh Food and Fun Fest is a fantastic event with all kinds of international food stalls, live music, rides, games, family entertainment, and raffles with great prizes. This event is an evening of fun for all ages!

International food stalls will include: Nachos, India Today Butter Chicken, Van Dyk's Crêpes, Satay Chicken, Baked Potatoes, Pizza, Chinese, West Indian Chicken, sausages and hamburgers,
and more!

There will also be cake and sweet stalls, candy floss, slushies, ice-cream, and you can
grab a coffee and delicious cake from our own Woodleigh Café.

Entertainment will include live music from the Spotswood Jazz Band, rides, games,
bouncy castles, face painting, yucky dip and more…

Great prizes to be won on the raffles – including a scenic flight around the mountain
from Civil Scape, and a $500 travel voucher from Stars Travel.

The Giant Pumpkin weigh-in will be held on the night, winners will be announced at the end
of the evening.

PIZZA LUNCHES - WEEKLY

We offer pizza lunches every Friday as a fundraiser for the Senior Camp and the Young Leaders Conference, this is run by the Mediators (senior school students).

Pizza is $2 per slice (Meatlovers flavour from Dominoes). Orders with correct money need to be placed in the order box in the office by 9am on Friday. When the lunch bell rings, your child needs to take their lunchbox to the hall, where the Mediators will hand out the pizza by class.

Order forms are in the weekly school newsletter and extras are available from the office. You can also download of copy of the order form HERE. Alternatively you can write your child’s order on a plain piece of paper, including their name, class, and number of slices ordered.

Please note: change cannot be given.

YOURFASTSHOP

Your Fastshop is an internet site which links to on-line shopping retailers. By using Your Fastshop, retailers donate a percentage of your purchase to Woodleigh School.

There are over 75 online stores connected to Your Fastshop. The amount of funds raised varies between each store. Over $5 can be raised for a $50 purchase at some shops. Your Fastshop is free, there are no extra costs for using the site, and you don’t need to register.

Online Stores include: Woolworths, IQ Toys, Just Tees, FishPond, HotelClub, Expedia, Office Max, Teleflora, Natures Remedies, Dominoes, Fatso, Dell, Baby Universe, Canterbury Clothing and many more!
