Enterprise and Innovation
Experiment, discover and be creative. Recognise the important processes of creativity, design and innovation.
Techy Time
Research, explore, and create using a range of digital technology. Develop a broad technological knowledge to be equipped for an ever changing society.
Being Scientific
Develop a sense of curiosity and wonder about the world around us. Investigate, understand and explain the natural, physical world and beyond.
Green Machine Sustainability
Develop the concept of kaitiaki, guardianship and Manaaki Whenua, caring for the land. Take action to ensure a better future for us all.
Looking back to look forward
Make connections by learning about the rich history of our people and land in our local area. Learn about how the past shapes the present and the future.
Colour my World
Develop skills and appreciation in the areas of visual arts, music and drama. Present our learning in a variety of creative ways to an audience.
Te Ao Maori
Proudly explore Te Ao Māori and Tikanga in everyday authentic ways . Explore our rich local history.
As students move through the school they will participate in exciting programmes that will take them beyond the classroom, into the environment and into the community. They will have many opportunities to become confident communicators and contributors, skilled self-managers and leaders, able sports people and musicians and make effective use of technology to support their learning.
The school enjoys trusted partnerships with parents and promotes effective communication with regular formal and informal opportunities to meet to support each child’s well-being and achievement.
