Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was offered Borussia Dortmund return, says Hans-Joachim Watzke

Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has shown he attempted to lure Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp back into the club.
Klopp won two Bundesliga titles in Dortmund throughout his seven years and transformed the team back to contenders.
The German has since directed the Reds to Champions League success and departed Dortmund at 2015 before taking up his current job at Liverpool a couple of months after.
He also admits that he wasnt surprised that his contract didnt break with Liverpool although Watzke wanted to bring back Klopp into the Bundesliga club.
I understood that Jurgen could [decrease ], that he will fulfil his contract at Liverpool, Watzke wrote in his new novel REAL LOVE. A life with BVB.
Jurgen has ever fulfilled his contracts, but should you want to go new methods and we needed to break new ground at BVB, then I needed to ask Jurgen if he could maybe imagine that.
I did not anticipate that at all, but that I wouldnt have forgiven myself for never asking him at the instant.
As well as Liverpool into his European Cup, Klopp has his side well placed to finish their wait for a league title in 30 decades.
Liverpool are already eight points clear of second-placed Manchester City in the Premier League, also Watzke believes Klopps capacity to be so effective is due to the fact he isalways fair.
The most important thing in our relationship was is that we can rely on each other blindly, he further added.
Jurgen never lied to me. Hes always honest, even at the occupation. And that I never lied to him.
In the toughest stage, at the season of separation, even when we jumped to the previous place sometime soon before the breakup from the Bundesliga, that was the situation.
That sounds so obvious once you say that, but Ive experienced it in a different way in this company and with other trainers.
