A statue of former Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been constructed in his hometown in Sweden.
The structure was introduced in front of hundreds of fans outside the stadium of Malmo .
Regardless of where you come from, where you are, no matter what you look , the statue is the sign that anything is possible, said Ibrahimovic.
The 38-year-old scored 62 goals for Sweden between 2016 and 2001.
The statue, created by Swedish artist Peter Linde, weighs nearly 500kg and is 8ft 9in tall.
Before heading on to play for AC Milan, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, Ajax, Paris St-Germain and United ibrahimovic started his career with Malmo.
He moved to the United States to play in the MLS in 2018.
Former England captain David Beckham, Portugal and Juventus forward the Egypt striker Mohamed Salah of Liverpool and also Cristiano Ronaldo happen to be honoured with figurines.
There is also an Ibrahimovic effigy in the Grevin wax museum in Paris.
